Indian Inspired Living II
Due to popular request, I have created a second set to go with my Indian Inspired Living set. This one focuses on the dinnigroom. It is set to puplish February 2, and the preview image can be found here.I am also working on a matching bedroom suite (and possibly a Nursery - but not sure yet) :).
In the food category I am currently working on the Mexican Cusisine (as promised) and, as some of you may have guessed, Indian meals will follow :).
Lava Lamp
Ahhh, the Lava Lamp... I used to beg my Mom to get me one when I was a kid. She kept saying it was a waste of money or other such "mommism", but I thought they were magical and way cool. Now, your Sims can have them on their wall. Of course they're not animated like the real Lava Lamps, but your Sims can sit back and reflect on how fluid and simple life is (or was). Here is Lava Lamp in Lavender:

Manor House Washroom: Coming soon!
Hi all, I'm currently working on my next set entitled 'Manor House Washroom'. It is my first bathroom. Ever.
So far, only the toilet is finished. You can see the in-game shot on the left and the SimPE shot on the right.
They are slightly different, but the final design is the one in the SimpPE screencap.
The pieces are somewhat Victorian in style, but still very modern, including a high-tank toilet (pictured), a slipper clawfoot tub, and even a BIDET! If I can get it to work, that is =P
Missing anything? A downpipe, for example?
Okay, so who's stupid? Before you all rush forth and volunteer that accolade for yourselves, I will admit: it is I. I am stupid.At this point, I SHOULD mention that anyone who states "I know" risks a good slapping.
MDKF poked me with a piece of my own guttering today, pointing out that there were missing pieces. Indeed, there were. This could be down to the fact that I was being selfish and didn't wish to give you the entire set, but in fact it was mere stupidity.
So, for those of you who really WOULD like the entire set, here are the links to the missing pieces...

A Note About Honor
I think that the Sims community works on the HONOR system... If a custom content creator spends hours working on a piece and publishes it here or another site, it's really a matter of decency and honor that prevents the general public from taking it and claiming it as their own.That being said, I recently had that happen to a free set published at ts2creations. A person published it here. They didn't even bother creating their own preview pics and left MY title. Now that person and her friend are leaving comments in my guest book. One of them is targeting my ruffles, which I find particularly HEINOUS. I am not mentioning names, but I'm sure you'll figure it out if they leave more nasty comments in my guest book. I've deleted the ones they've left thus far and reported them to the admins, though I don't know what can be done about this childish behavior. Suffice it to say, they exemplify people with NO honor.
And leave my poor ruffles out of it!

So thank you for letting me know what you want, but I still can't take requests outside the little list I made. I just want to finish what I have started first ;)But feel free to comment which one you would want to see next from the list from my last Blog entry and I'll try to finish the ones that seem to be most wanted :)
Cube Generations Set
Coming up on Tues (30th Jan) is the set of four Cube lots. I built these lots soon after building the Squares lot. I was obsessed with those big square windows from OFB (still am!) and wanted to build more lots based on cubes, this time based in an urban setting... and here they are.The lots do bear a resemblance to MissyZ's fabulous Water Court series and I want to acknowledge that here. I'm not trying to claim her ideas as my own; it's entirely probable that I was influenced by her work while I was building. These lots are simply my take on a similar theme :-)
So, there are four lots, all set up and ready to go. They would all definitely benefit from some re-decoration (I was designing to a strict budget!) but all the basics are there. Each lot is progressively larger than the last. The idea was that these lots were built on a derelict piece of land, which the owner was gradually able to do up.

Longevity Bedroom
I couldn't help myself, I had to do another recolour of the Tokyo bedroom. :)The Longevity Bedroom once again features smooth minimalistic style and a Japanese flair. This time around I opted for a more monochromatic colour scheme of muted greys, whites, silver, black and a bold mahogany wood for warmth and passion - never a bad thing to have in the bedroom. ;) Once again I've created an artistic focal point to the room using the wall panel light; this time it's a muted watercolour of Japanese cranes in a mating dance. And as the crane is a symbol of longevity, the bed linens also feature the Asian symbol for longevity in rich red. Accent pieces this time around include a spotted granite pot of dogwood branches and a cracked dove grey vase. The walls are a white rice paper and the floor is one of the shag carpets that came with GLS.
Next up on my schedule is yet another bedroom set but this time it will be for the kiddies - something refreshingly different, bright and fun!

As promised, here is a picture of my first recolor of AnoeskaB's Turano Dining Room. I added Windows/Doors, ceiling lights and of course, the walls and floors. What do you think? It's still not in its final stage, but I thought you might like a look.

Excited
I'm very excited today. My friend, AnoeskaB, has released her Turano Dining Room. Back a ways in here, I mentioned that I had these walls and floors that I really like. They are perfect for a dining room, but I had no dining room. I worked at making a dining room, but I was really unsatisfied with the results because the dining room didn't look as good as the walls. So Fate, Destiny, Kismet - whatever, stepped in and found me this dining room set whose creator has no time to make more recolors. And her dining room just happens to look perfect with my walls. How very convenient! You probably won't see these for a while, since I have so much in the queue (unless you yell loudly), but I will put a small preview in here shortly. You might as well go get her meshes now, as well as her beautiful red recolor. I have walls and floors for that color, too! I think some of my walls will go with the lime green, but I have to test that a bit further. If not, maybe I'll make some. I'm also really happy because this will be something with colors other than the plaid colors and I know some of you are beginning to thing those are the only colors I know!Submit Problem
Created on 6,Jan,2007I think I can't submit large files such as outfit, hair etc. recently since my access speed to TSR is terribly sloooow. It has something to do with the broken undersea opticl cable during the earthquake a week ago, it brought up so many communication problems between east asia and the other area.
Submitting files became a very very hard work to me since last week, the best thing I can do in such low access speed is keep submitting small files such as object packages less or arround 100 kb.
I heard from the news that the broken undersea cable could not be fixed untill the mid of Jan, maybe even the end of Jan depending on the weather condition. Hope it getting better soon!

Serenity Bedroom
After finding myself using Padre333's beautiful Tokyo bedroom set time and again in many of my Sim houses lately, I found fresh inspiration. :)The Serenity Bedroom features a minimalistic style with a Japanese flair. Rice paper wall treatment of seafoam green add a subtle textural contrast to smooth ebony wood and silver accents. A vibrant Japanese silkscreen of a sunset harbour forms the shoji screen for a dramatic wall panel light and room focal point. Lastly, a softly rippling water design to the bed linens ties the silkscreen print into the rest of the room for a balanced harmony. Accent deco pieces include a weather copper pot with dried grasses and a glass vase.

Earthtones For Men
Everyday wear for men has been the most popular choice in my January poll pretty much from the very start, so here is a set of outfits for your male Sims: faded blue denim jeans worn with a selection of cosy cable knit sweaters in earth tones and co-ordinating comfy leather loafers. Five sweaters are plain, three have stripes across the chest.
This outfit can be worn by adults and young adults and requires a mesh which came with Nightlife.

Over the past few days, I have been busy creating objects for my new set. It started as a Victorian Lady's dressing room, took on a life of its own and morphed into a guest suite. I am just about finished with the set. So far, the set includes:

-standing floor mirror
-armoire
-small armoire (end table)
-deco sets for the vanity table, and small armoire

Storybook Highchair Update!
I was just informed today that there seems to be an issue for some with the frame recolors not working correctly on the Storybook highchair mesh. Now that most of the Modern Stuff Mini Pack has been published (last set to be published tomorrow), I will begin work on some new projects. The first will be TS1 for TS2 objects. It won't be a big set since I won't have much time to create for a while... Also, I have decided to create a second Roof Set, with 6 new colors. I might expand the set a bit more, but I have six colors I want to use for the next set. Also, I have the "box art" for the Modern Stuff Mini Pack finished, and here it is! (this is the tiny version, the larger version will be available on my website soon!)

Coming Jan 26 (They nearly didn't)
I have a new Cozy Lavender bedroom set coming soon (Jan 26)to compliment the cozy lavender living room.
also coming up is the second set in my series of the 'Elder Chic' collection.
If you're wondering why they 'nearly didn't' it's because we got a new friend for my single female bunny, but her new boyfriend decided it would be really funny to chew through the electric cable that powers the computers and modem, fusing the whole house! he did this just as I was half way through submitting. Luckily my husband repaired the damage and we have light and are back online :~)
New fashion items for your ladies
I've made two new sets. One set comes with mini dresses which have an open front neckline (I have used it for a top before, but I like it so much, that I've use it again for this set). All dresses have a solid color and you don't need to download a mesh etc.
The second set includes 4 whole outfits which based all on a blue capri jeans and ballerina shoes and different dressy tunic tops. I think they are good for some spring feelings ;) (here by me it is snowing, snowing and snowing) Here you also don't need to download a mesh.

I decided to quit from FA status & concentrate on study.
I am Junior Political Science student at university now so I need to study hard and the time I use to make creations I need to upload monthly is taking a lot of time so I want to quit so I can concentrate on my study. I have decided to quit. I will quit after we start our feb theme because I have some beautiful creation for that theme. They are mostly my old creation that suit this theme "Fantasy Realm". Here are couple of my creation for this theme.
I have really good time with you guys and I will remember it and miss you all.
Ps. about free site I plan to make with my friends --mentioned in my blog posted On Dec 18, 2006--, the project is on hold now.

Previews!
Yesterday I set up the rooms for the preview shots of the six sets I'm working on. Keep in mind, my graphics card was turned way down, and these shots don't showcase every piece of the set, either. All of the walls and floors (and then some) will be included in the bedding/pillows/rug set that will go up first.Today I'm working on the recolors. I hope to have them all imported into SimPE by the end of the night so I can do the previews for uploading tomorrow. I've got a poker game this weekend, so I might not start uploading until Monday. The file-count is up to 160 already, and I haven't even done the recolors yet, so uploading is gonna take a while. Anyway, on with the previews!

Modern home - swimmable river
I've also made a more sophisticated Japanese island home which I'll be publishing on Monday. On Friday I'm publishing a modern island home - several of you have asked for this! :) It's called River Island, since it's in the middle of a river, with a boathouse on the far bank which can only be reached by swimming! Since the boathouse houses the tub and a bowling lane, there are lot's of reasons to go swimming ..... and to keep fit!!!! Here's 3 pics - a preview:

Latest set - Various Paradises
Last Friday I published a set of 3 island homes. In a sense they're 3 re-colours, with different colourings of my Japanese Roof Tile, and different walls and floors. Also some variations in detail, and the Midnight home has an extra 2-level summerhouse. The Midnight house is dark blue, and the others are Gold and Coral. I've put up a screenie of the Gold one. Here's a pic to show the roof tiles :
New PC
I have always had to borrow a computer to load sims 2, as my own pc is way too old to run the game. As you probably know none of the sims 2 accessory programs will run on a pc that does not already have the game loaded. So this meant that I have had to do everything connected with stories on that borrowed pc (bodyshop,homecrafter). Now I am also making movies, and my own pc won't stretch to video editing either.Hah...just been called away from writing this by our doorbell ringing, my new shiny pc has just been delivered..fingers crossed I get it working ok.
New Stuff Coming Soon...
I'm just about used to being awake all night and sleeping during the day with this new job, so I'm finally working on some new creations to submit. The first couple of weeks on the new job made me so tired all the time, that it was difficult to feel creative. But I'm feeling "normal" again and promise to submit some new stuff soon!Gaming

I have a bedroom coming out before too long that is the same way. The colors are a bit bright for me, but I figure other people might like it, so why not?
I'm in the mood to create something classy. I'll have to work on that, since I don't seem to do that sort of thing too well. I've made several starts and I have several things that are half-finished. I'll let you know if I come up with something.

Pointy-Ear Phase!
Yes, I'm back into those Sims with big pointy ears! I am working on some items for the elven folk and starting with bedding here at TSR. I also have some Elegant Elf clothing over at MTS2 for those of you into the elf-thing. Here are some pix of the upcoming bedding ....(hopefully) ...
Bold and Beautiful - Lipsticks
As promised, I've updated with the second line of Reflections high gloss lipsticks. This set is geared specifically towards dark skintones and is a great choice for sophisticated businesswomen or for a night out of high class clubbing. However, it does also work with light skintones, too and actually makes for a bold gothic statement if that's your thing. :) They're available for teen through elder females.
I may make a third set for this series of midtone 'au naturale' glosses but I'll wait to see what people think of these first sets first.

Hello everyone!I know, I know, it took me a bit longer than 2 or 3 weeks, but I�m finally back! I hope you all had great holydays (witch reminds me - a big thanks goes to all people who signed my guestbook expressing their best wishes. Right back at you! ), and now it�s time to get back to simming! This week - something special that�s not that special at all. "Sunday Morning" is the name of my newest hair set that will be released (you guessed it!) on Sunday morning this week. It�s nothing fancy, just simple casual hairstyle with simple animation. But then again, as I already mentioned, isn�t simplicity the best solution?

They say a change
.....is as good as a rest, well I fancied a bit of a rest so I decided to try my hand at recolouring clothing...and at first I thought oh no what are you doing.... nothing was looking great at all, but after a few days of trial and error I finally got it and I have just uploaded my first to sets of recolours of Grizzelda's great Fishtail Dress, I hope you like them and be gentle as these are my first ...but probably not my last. Andrea
